"brief" update: this semester is going by in fast-forward...i have a huge trial brief due this friday that i have been working on all semester, and harris flies in that afternoon for the weekend to hang out. i cant wait to have a semi-free weekend for the first time this semester. only one more week after that and then i am flying to TEXAS for the week for Spring Break to see all of my best friends, my big brother Bo, and my parents who are flying in for the weekend to see us. (yeah, i still get a SB...probably one of the only high points of still being in school!) i will update more this weekend, hopefully. until then...
my professor just gave a devotion on this quote. i loved and it wanted to share.
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." -unknown (to me)
